Born in northern Ohio, the Cleveland air show fed Michael Kane’s early artistic interests in aviation and set him on a course that continues today. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design. Now based in Denver, Colorado, he currently operates a successful interior mural and faux finish business. His personal paintings focus entirely on aircraft and the people who make them fly. As an active member of the ASAA, his work has been shown in numerous exhibits, galleries and museums. He is also involved with the U.S. Air Force Art program, which recently sent him along with several other ASAA artists to Iraq. He now has several paintings hanging in the Pentagon along with many other Air Force installations throughout the world. In the spring of 2003, he completed a mural for United Airlines at Denver International Airport in their flight ops facility.
Michael currently accepts artistic commissions on any subject. |
